Shire Music Theatre's production of Blood Brothers opens this Friday 16th and runs through to 25th November.
The play is a contemporary nature vs. nurture tale revolving around fraternal twins separated at birth. The twins' different backgrounds take them to the opposite ends of the social spectrum, one becoming an Oxbridge graduated councillor and the other ending up on the dole and in prison for a while. Both fall in love with the same girl, which leads them to the tragic conclusion. The central character of the show is their mother, Mrs Johnstone.
The cast of ‘Blood Brothers’ showcases the talents of Robyn Lassman as Mrs Johnstone, Miles Perry and Nathan Farrow as Mickey and Eddie, Michelle Lansdown as Mrs Lyons and Steve Hart as the Narrator. Other featured performers include Virginia Natoli, Murray Stanton, Ramon Drew and a talented, supporting ensemble who are sure to have you leaving the theatre captivated with silence, either through emotion or complete awe.
Bookings can be made by calling 8230 0668.
