HILDA - The Australian premiere of an award-winning French play, in a world premiere translation. Preview Sept. 5th Season September 6th - 20th TAP Gallery Theatre, Darlinghurst "Did you say kill me, Franck, or kiss me?" A man struggling to support his family meets an ex-Socialist who can’t stand her own children. Franck needs money, so his wife Hilda takes a job as a nanny for Mrs Lemarchand, a lonely, desperate housewife. Mrs Lemarchand soon turns Hilda into a prisoner, mind and body. But does she want Hilda, or does she want Franck? On the heels of IR reform and just in time for APEC, this French psychological thriller is uniquely relevant to Australia today. It’s dangerous, surreal, and darkly funny. It’s a nightmare - and it’s the truth.
