for our June season we present that well known and loved classic "trivial comedy for serious people" by Oscar Wilde, "The Importance of Being Earnest" As the story is very well known I don't need to give a precis! Director Garry Lawrence (Breaker Morant, Shirley Valentine) has assembled a wonderful cast from the 50+ who auditioned and no matter how many times you have seen this play, each director and cast bring something new to this all time classic so come and be thoroughly entertained in our comfortable heritage theatre. It's easy to reach from north and south and there are many fine restaurants and cafes within walking distance of the theatre to make a total evening entertainment. Sunday June 3 is a Matinee performances commencing at 2 pm PLEASE NOTE: We have gone over to the BOCS booking sytem, except for the Matinee which will still be handled by the theatre.
