Loosely based on the life of southern American writer Carson McCullers, friend of Tennessee Williams, dinner companion of Marilyn Monroe, unrequited lover of Gypsy Rose Lee. A human drama about what must be sacrificed and what must be accepted in order to be faithful to one’s true self! Winner ANPC/New Dramatist Award, Public reading in New York by Martha Plimptonand Academy Award winner Frances McDormand (Best Actress, Fargo)
