Plough through a sea of books and take the journey into time and memory this September with Creating Doug and Moments of Headspace. Blown Globe shocks to life this electrified double bill from the mind of local artist Brent Hill.
---CREATING DOUG---
Doug and Paddy play an energised game of verbal ping-pong whilst trying to figure out where, when and who they are. Playing God with their own lives, they bend memory to each others will and discover Susie; Doug's youthful first love. When Paddy insists on orchestrating life, Doug takes a breath and dives into the unknownÂ…finding all of them in a rather bizarre situation. Each step of the way Creating Doug is uplifting and fun while remaining heartfelt and meaningful.
"Hmm, you ever kissed yourself? Like making out with your leg when it's gone to sleep."
---MOMENTS OF HEADSPACE---
Somewhere amongst the ocean of books lies page 183. Sunny is finishing his masterpiece. Tracey runs a bath. Jake dresses himself in shadow. Mona spits watermelon seeds.
Moments of Headspace explores the reality of missed moments and how two people can be at different points within one relationship. Darkness and shadow are ever present but change form and move like silk clouds through a clear stream.
"All I care about is a bed made of ice and a man made of fruitcake."
Starring Jo Booth, Max Lunt, Kerry O'Sullivan and Ben Russel.
