But John is now unemployed and Helen is having trouble coping – with anything - so they’re going to need some help. But is Nanny the right choice, with her jar of snakes and rampant libido? What about Cynthia, with her kidnapping fantasies and her German shepherd with a taste for baby meat? Is there any chance of Helen and John raising Daisy as a normal child, safe from depression, narcolepsy and buses? Is there any chance of Daisy maturing into a sane, well-adjusted woman?
