Alive with dazzling colours, imperial textures, foolish antics and hilarious pomposity, this new version of Hans Christian Andersen's classic story of vanity and illusion will feature in January 2004 for His Majesty's Theatre's Centenary Celebrations.

His Majesty is the ultimate fashion victim. Bored with every possible accessory - from the grandiose to the ridiculous, he is charmed by a mysterious weaver promising the most beautiful fabric the world has ever seen....

This play is set in an exotic miniature village and the audience will come to life with a special interactive a-capella fireworks extravaganza to impress His Majesty.
