STAND & DELIVER - Urban Edge Comedy Season

As part of MidlandÂ’s URBAN EDGE Festival the 7th Ave Bar & Restaurant present a series of comedy shows displaying the finest in local comic talent, including a FREE outdoor event on Saturday Nov 15.

Saturday Nov 8 sees three of the best take to the stage in ‘Real-Life Comedy Adventures’. The master, Malcolm Dix, Damian ‘Damo’ Clark (ex-Nova FM), and the biggest name in Perth comedy, Werzel, take us on a journey through the most traumatic, painful, dangerous and HILARIOUS events of their lives!

‘John How-Odd’s Questions Without Notice’ on Friday Nov 14 is your opportunity to confront our PM with every probing, controversial and ridiculous question you’ve ever wanted to ask!

On Saturday Nov 15 ‘Street Muster Comedy’, starting at 7:30pm, will transform the 7th Ave courtyard into a comedy/musical arena where (for $0, that's right -FREE!) you can witness the spectacle of Anglo-Indian love gods ‘Suresh & the Naked Chics’, a’capella hip-hop trio ‘Micadelic’ and 2003 WAMI winner, Andrew Horabin.

Taking the stage on Friday Nov 21 are ‘The Newbies’, the funky, fresh-faced young boys and girls who have successfully nudged their way onto the pro-comedy circuit this year. Special guest MC is that lovable English backpacker with the expired visa, Richard Atkinson. See him before he gets deported!

For the big finale on Saturday Nov 22, go instantly mad with laughter at ‘Spontaneous Insanity’, improvisational comedy at its very best! Among those making it up as they go along (with your help) will be Damo, Glenn Hall, James Eaton (The Big Hoo-Haa), and Nova FM’s Natalie Locke.
