An evening incorporating two stories using two mediums.
One Act Play:
Forever, Mother
A black comedy about the lives of a mother and daughter whose relationship has become a series of destructive patterns and lies. Their co-dependent existence is altered irrevocably when a young grocery delivery boy named Fender proposes marriage to the daughter, Emily. This will be the playÂ’s Australian debut.
Short Film:
The Buddha Thief by Rebecca Flanagan
Filmed on location in Melbourne this is the story of Tara Spaulding, a lonely romance fiction writer. A heartless theft sets in motion a series of events that will change TaraÂ’s life forever. A spiritual film about loss, grief and new hope.
There will also be a matinee on Saturday at 2:30PM
