"Romeo and Juliet" is more than a romance. It is a tragedy, a comedy, a study of renaissance society and an exploration of youth. It has wit, action, poignancy, brilliant characters, and is crafted in the most beautiful form of lyricism ever to grace an actorÂ’s lips.
Eclectic in style, this four-handed adaptation of the bard's greatest play is aimed at bringing all of these features to the audience in a way that will challenge the boundaries of theatre, while still being enjoyable and easy to understand. It will feature Cori Hopper and Gillian Emmett as the two star-crossed lovers, with Terry Collins and Andrew Browne in multiple roles.
There will also be matinee performances on the 7th and 14th, starting at 2pm.
