AddressThe Old Fitzroy Theatre
For audiences currently grappling with the immigration debate, Vertigo and the Virginia takes a look at the changes and continuities in who we were and who we are. Exploring the themes of memory, identity and our treatment of “new Australians” the play is a funny, moving, but unsentimental account of a young man’s desperate search for truth. The 1940s and the present day collide, exposing secrets long held in a watery grave.
Starring Liz Chance (Stingers, Ashes To Ashes) as Ruth; Boris Brkic (FarScape, Twisted Tales) as Voya, Felicity Soper as Frances and Gyton Grantley (Blurred) as Caylem.
