“…an unequivocal source of joy, laughter, tears and delight” DAILY MAIL

When Hollywood invades County Kerry, it's the Americans who play the Irish, and the hapless locals who are privileged to play the extras. Jake and Charlie know at heart they're being exploited, but they've got stars in their eyes, starlets in their local pub, and forty quid a day in their pockets. They might even score a line of dialogue.

With thirteen roles between them, Jeremy Stanford and Greg Stone play a range of beautifully etched characters, from the glamorous American leading lady to the spiky assistant director, the Scottish security guard to the exasperated director. The result is a fast-paced and quick-witted piece of Irish comedy.

A dazzling night at the theatre as these two actors play their hob-nailed boots off for anyone who's ever been an extra on a film set, or felt like an extra in their own lives.

A Sydney Theatre Company and Melbourne Theatre Company production.
