AddressNew Lyric Theatre, Bourke St.,Bunbury
A lascivious and corrupt old judge in the guise of Mr Squeezum and his flirtatious and extravagant wife, together with a wonderful collection of “Dickensian” type characters ranging from amorous young gallants, virtuous young maidens and bumptious coffee house politicians combine to make this musical a delightful bawdy romp.
Set in 18th Century London with music by Laurie Johnson and lyrics by Lionel Bart (who is well known for his popular musical “Oliver”) Patrons can be assured of a highly entertaining evening.
