We present Jim Cartwright's comedy/drama
"The Rise & Fall of Little Voice".
Little Voice (LV) lives with her alcoholic mother in a 'mess of a house' in Northern Eengland. While mother's only ambition in life is to find a man, LV spends most of her time in her room listening to her late father's collection of records. When her mothers latest boy-friend, a small time impressario hears her faultless impersonation of such singing stars as Judy Garland, Billie Holiday etc he decides that she will make his fortune. What then happens is a comic;tragic situation which almost destroys LV - almost but not quite. come and see for yourselves this entertaining and occasionally tragic play.
