is the Australian Talent Management agency good?

Recently an extras/acting/modelling agency called Australian Talent Management (ATM) has been advertising current castings all over Australia-wide online job listings. I have been in contact with them regarding a TV series being filmed on the Gold Coast, but I can't find any information on them (other then their job listings and website). Does anyone know this agency? Is it another NOTM? I'm a bit concerned. They allow for a free listing on their website but in order to actually be presented to clients, they suggest you upgrade to a $100 yearly membership. I was in touch with NOTM a year ago and I recall they had a very similar system of membership. If anyone has any information, it would be greatly appreciated. I suspect there will soon be an increase in interest in this agency following the recent spate of casting listings.

Pardon

OK, I was going to keep out of this one beyond my be careful comments but... 1/ I am with an agent who charges me no fees beyond what I expect to pay from work she gets me. 2/ I was not required to do her course, which she does offer 3/ I was not required to use her photographer but arranged my own which she was quite happy with. 4/ I do not have a show reel as I am not seeking that sort of work and she does not insist. She does get me work she does promote me and it costs me 15% of what I earn no other fees at all. End of story Is that all there is? Well if that's all there is my friend, then let's keep dancing. www.tonymoore.id.au

It's been said before but it bears repeating - a decent agency *doesn't* charge you fees upfront; they take a percentage from any work they subsequently get you.

And that is why ATM and other organisations on the net that charge a fee up-front are NOT like agents. E-casters, D2A etc don't pretend to be agents. They are providing different services. Jim
