I have no where else to...

I need an outlet. I've never been into the arts much but I've always wanted to be more involved than I have been, so I was told here was a pretty good place to start. I'm a bit of a writer actually but the closest i've gotten to performing recently is karaoke down at the pub with the boys. It's my 28th birthday today... So I thought, time to turn over a new leaf, do those things I haven't done before but I dunno, i'm probably a bit old for it all now. Oh well, if anyone has any ideas about how I could get started let me know.
