Sebet Productions Proudly Presents THE CHRISTOPHER KIRBY STANDARD AMERICAN ACCENT AND CREATING CONFIDENCE WORKSHOP 2009 With the ever increasing US productions filming here in Australia such as The Knowing, Ghost Rider and Wolverine, it is imperative for all actors to further develop their Standard American Accent skills to increase their confidence in auditioning for international casting directors. Sebet Productions would like to make this possible by holding a 3 hour workshop hosted by Los Angeles actor Christopher Kirby. An affordable workshop to give Australian actors the opportunity to improve their accent skills and gain that extra confidence to land the roles we all dream of. After graduating with a BA in Drama, Speech Communication and Speech Pathology, Chris performed with a variety of theatre companies. But it was his role ‘Herbert “Magic” Williams in long running series “Quantum Leap” that gave him the break that began a chain reaction of TV and movie roles. Within his 20 years of working in the industry, Chris has starred in over 33 well know TV Shows and Films including opposite Will Smith in Fresh Prince of Bel Air, draining blood as a vampire in Queen of the Damned, lecturing Mick Malloy in Crackerjack and playing a Colonel in The Saddle Club. But it was his role as Mauser in The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions and Giddean Danu in Star Wars Episode III that continues to impress casting directors both here and in the US. After finishing a role in The Starter Wife with Debra Messing, Chris began filming soon to be released feature Daybreakers starring Ethan Hawke and Willam Defoe, and will be playing the role of Rogers in upcoming feature film The Sebet.
