Thesis Help!

I'm currently in my final year at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Wales, Uk. i am writing my thesis on Post-Colonial Theatre and how theatre can influence a nations identity. I's be grateful if anyone could share their opinion on this. Do you think theatre can influence a nations culture and identity? if so how? Do you think that having a venue to share an Australian voice helped Australia break away from Britain? Do you think it's important for Australia to be portrayed on stage? What does it mean to you to be Australian? i'd be very grateful for any help that you can provide. thankyou.
