Original Australian Musical Wins Award for "Best Original Work"

On Saturday 21 Feb, the all-Australian, original full-length musical comedy 'It Was That Way When I Got Here' received the award for "Best Original Work" at the 2008 Canberra Area Theatre Awards. http://www.catawards.com.au The award was both unexpected and proudly received by the authors Andrew Hackwill and Jonathan Flack. The cast were also on hand at the 'Canberra Theatre' to perform one of the show's big dance numbers.
