Professional Headshots

With my photography, I look for art in everything around me, whether that be a persons face, the shape of a dancers body, a flower, or a brick wall. My artwork is currently mixed media on canvas, involving acrylics and digital photography. My portrait work is mainly focused on artists and performers, helping them promote themselves and their talent. With previous experience in front of the camera as a dancer and actor, I now use this knowledge in my photographic work, to encourage the necessary 'looks' out of performers, creating that important connection with the viewer of the image and helping their face stand out from the crowd. Doing the make-up and the hair, the photography and all the photoshop, I'm a 'one-stop-shop'! After shooting in New York, Los Angeles in 2004/5 and just recently two months in London, I am now setting up studio space in Sydney and Melbourne, to offer headshot shoots to actors outside of Brisbane, where I've been based from London for the past 18 years. I have a small portrait studio in Newstead, Brisbane and as they say, 'out of little things, big things grow!'
