One Act season

The Melville one-act season -Winter Warmers- commences this Friday night, and continues on the 2,3,7,8 & 9th of August. The evening performances are curtain up at 8pm, and the Sunday matinee at 2pm. We have a mixed bag again this year, with 2 Chekhovs and a locally written production. I will be making my directorial debut at Melville, with Chekhov's "A Marriage Proposal". Lindsay Sedgwick will then present "The Harmfulness of Tobacco". Then follows interval, where you will be provided with tea/coffee or soup and a roll, courtesy of the hardworking Melville Theatre Company members. The bar will be open for the evening performances. After interval, we proudly present Dawn Murray's "Deaths Dilemma". The Riches Bar is open after the show, and we encourage our patrons to hang around for a chat and a drink.
