How do you get an Acting Career?

Hello, How do you get into an Acting Career like a show Hannah Monatana or Mortified? In a age group of Under 13 or above. I have tryed websites but I can't find any acting auditions in Australia WA. Would you need a Agent to be a Actress or not? Regards, curlywurly
