USA ACTING BOOT CAMP If you are thinking about making the leap and trying your luck in New York or LA this course is a must. Experience a jam-packed course in the life of a working actor. This six week Industry Boot Camp is designed to help actors “hit the ground running” upon arrival in Los Angeles or New York. This Boot Camp benefits actors who are ready to jump-start and launch a successful career. Learn about the business of acting, whilst brushing up on your general American accent and cold reading skills. In this course Bridget will teach the following: • General American dialect (students receive an audio CD to practice) • Cold reading technique • The business of Acting (headshots, resumes, postcards & mail outs) • Being your own agent • Finding an Agent or Personal Manager • VISA information • Meeting with top Casting Directors in film & TV. In addition, students create strategies for their personal plan of attack and receive practical information vital for actors to survive in such competitive markets.
