SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS: TEENS ON SCREEN HOLIDAY WORKSHOP

TEENS ON SCREEN HOLIDAY WORKSHOP is perfect for teens and budding TV stars who love acting and being in front of the camera. Run by professional actress and teacher Cienda McNamara, the workshop will cover acting for camera techniques, auditioning for ads, commercials and TV and what to expect in a casting and on set. You will also be working on how to “break down a script”, creating a character and acting techniques. During this time she has worked with a wide variety of people between the ages of 5 and 40. Cienda holds a Performer’s Certificate from Trinity College London and is currently employed as Senior Drama Tutor at Fame Theatre Company and as Drama Tutor for Davidia Lind Dance Company’s Full-time Course in Musical Theatre and Commercial Dance. Cienda has also worked at several high schools in South East Queensland. Former students have gained places at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (Music Theatre), the Ballarat Academy of Performing Arts (Music Theatre), the Victorian College of Arts (Music Theatre), the University of Southern Queensland (Acting), the Rose Bruford College (UK) and the Queensland Conservatorium (Music Theatre Course). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
