Stage Management Desk

I am designing a stage managers desk/console for a new theatre and while I have a design in mind. I am just trying to guage other peoples (stage managers especially) ideas of layout of monitors, buttons etc. and general design, for example "is having high monitors a good idea or not". Also does anyone know of a commercially availabe product. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
