FEMALE Soprano/Actor with competent Ballroom Dancing Skills required for a Christmas Show travelling across NSW late Nov-Dec.

SHOW DETAILS
The Show is 1-½ hours long plus 1-2 intervals (depending on whether it is done theatre restaurant style). It tours NSW during late November through to late December (ending just before Christmas). There are 4 characters – a titled gentleman, an American heiress, an Elf from the future and a Town Crier. The role you would be auditioning for is the American heiress. You will need to do an educated East Coast American accent.
The Show is a double love story punctuated by comedy, original and new musical cabaret songs, a few Christmas Carols and original magic illusions. The 1st half of the Show is set in 1905 (London) and the 2nd half in the present day (Joy Factory, North Pole).
We pay $1000 for rehearsals, which are part-time during the evening and weekend, starting in October.
Show Fee - $200 per Show.

Please prepare ALL of the following:
1. A 1 minute comedic monologue
2. 2 songs – 1 ballad/1 up-tempo of which 1 must be a Christmas Carol; you will be asked to sing a proportion of each and 1 will be a’capella. You MUST bring a backing CD for one song.
3. Be prepared to be led through a simple ballroom dance routine.
