Corinna Di Niro presents... COMMEDIA DELL'ARTE WORKSHOP with MAESTRO ANTONIO FAVA! Sat 12 Nov 2011! Registrations are now open for a workshop with world expert of Commedia dell'Arte, Antonio Fava. Including a demonstration, lecture and conference plus 3 hours learning from the maestro himself! This is an event well worth attending! "Commedia dell'Arte is a powerful training method, not to be neglected by any stage artist!" (Fava 2004). During the day, Antonio will present: 1. Historical introduction 2. Illustration of the characters by using the masks to interpret roles 3. Performance of several "lazzi" (individual comic routines) with Commedia dell'Arte characters and masks. 4. One day, Pulcinella meets Donna Zezza and the two fall in love. But, seized with a terribly fury of jealousy because Zezza – he believes – betrays him, Pulcinella enlists as a volunteer in the war trying to find a solution to his problem. Is there a solution? Yes, only one: another woman! But what comes of this are only more headaches! Will Pulcinella find love and tranquillity? A comic portrayal of life as a southern Italian servant.
