Comedy Writers Invited

ATTENTION COMEDY WRITERS REQUIRED (must be ORIGINAL). Can be experienced or just talented) I am developing my farcical character Dr Phill McCavitty, MB BS., Cert. Gasfitting & Plumbing (TAFE) who was a former leading Sydney gynaecologist (before being struck off for malpractice in 1964). Dr Phill is re-emerging in his professional career as a MC/entertainer or straight stand-up medico-comedian. Think somewhere between Sir Les Patterson, the (other) Dr Phill, Norman Gunston, and sex therapist Bettina Arndt. Dr Phill will be dispensing practical but hysterically funny sex therapy advice to audiences (live and television). Delivery will be principally monologue, however, some Q & A content/engagement with a live audience is also planned (where appropriate). Dr Phill is seeking comedy writers to assist with material - funny, rude is OK, crude not so OK, nor should there be need for offensive language as the material alone should be funny enough to carry off a hilarious performance. This is genuine. Happy to sign a Confidentiality Agreement before sighting material and will negotiate payment on all or any material used. Must be ORIGINAL material and suitable for mixed adult audience. Writers to provide a written guarantee that material submitted is original.
