Hey guys... appologies for the delay.. you all want to know about the indutry.. well i have tried them all. Q talent was good for a while but then focused on hospitality and stopped working for the extras...if you are a waiter/ or looking for extra cash.. they can help you with that.. and then once your all mates they may find you a gig here and there. voom.. currently with them... can be good.. have been good to me.. they cost $300... you dont get your pics... but they have a lot of contracts... pg's supposedly have all the contracts(which is crap) but i have not seen them on set as much as extras and voom.. they are there dont get me wrong.. but not as much...and they have their favorite and therefor there isn't much left for any one else they cost $300 and you DO get a copy of your pics.. and he is a very good photographer or at least he was... so if you want another way to look at it. your paying $300 bucks for a couple of good pics and the rest is money for jam. mctv = dont bother roses = for kids and dont bother. extras... not been with but know a lot about.. cheaper than the rest.. have a LOT of contracts and if you behave yourself and turn up on time with your equipment and dont make a fool of yourself they will get you work.. but if you idiots are doing this as an income then your an idiot.. this is not a job.. this is a paid hobby only. proper actors have degrees in acting and have studied properly they go to proper castings not cattle calls like we do. it is different.. you want the big bucks.. go to school if you want to have fun and earn a little cash on the side.. then this is it. you have to pay every one up front.. no choice in the matter.. you can ask questions and see which one suits you best. i am with voom now.. i am waiting to see how much i earn this year and then i will make my decision on weither i stay or not.. you cannot have more than 1 agent.. they will fnd out and stop calling you trust me.. done it...if you want to be a serious actor.. see you in about 4 years :) i know that screenwise is quite a good school with denise i have done 1 season with her.. at the time the school was new and i didn't get as much out of it as i hoped but since then she has come leaps and bounds and i can recommend her... but it is expensive... so please people.. be relistic.. get the stars out of your eyes...and get ready for the hard yards..you can get lucky but dont bet on it. i have done many movies and commercials tv shows even community service announcements and the like over the ten years i have been 'playing'...i have also studied and done a few short films which i still have lying around somewhere...they dont even look at my experiance because i'm still 'cattle' its basic common sense and work eithic.. you work.. they pay you.. you cant be bothered or try to scam the system.. you dont get work. its easy. but you are cattle like the rest of us.. no premadonnas.. no i'm better than you.. we all go we all sit and we all wait. and occationally they like you and keep calling you back. simple. unless i am prepared to go to Nida and pay my 10 or 20k.. i'm at the bottom of the food chain... modeling agencies - ice models... crap! nk models.. even worse than crap! (please please please dont do it) only chadwicks and a couple up that end of the market are worth while.. but again.. they own you and they are hard to get into! dancers i have no knowledge except.. Bodenwiesers dance academy near broadway is good.. i got a lot from them but again its expensive. theatre... no knowledge except i did a course in school many years ago.. then left school so didn't continue as i got a 'day' job.. as we do... so no idea who is good and who is not. and thats all i got kids.. so good luck.
