SAWT seeks new members
Monday 26 July 2010
Have you ever thought of writing a play?
Maybe you’ve already written one and don’t know what to do next?
Why not join the SA Writer’s Theatre?
SAWT meets at 7.00pm on the second Tuesday of every month except January and February at the SA Writers Centre in Rundle Street. (2nd Floor above Café Brunelli).
We are a co operative writers group who, through a peer driven dramaturgical process, help our members to develop their work.
Our mission is to foster and encourage the quality and quantity of writing for performance, ensuring that writers maintain control over their work during the development process, with the overall object of producing and promoting the resulting scripts.
We are entirely self funded.
New members are always welcome. Each month we read one or more submissions from various members.
For more information or if you intend to bring new work to read please contact us via www.sawt.org.au as our schedule can be quite full.
While we are based in SA we would love to hear from individual writers or similar writing groups interstate as we would be happy to exchange work for readings with similar minded organisations or accept work from individuals to read at our meetings.
In the eventuality of receiving scripts in this way we would be happy to provide a recording of the feedback session held at the end of our reading.
