HELP - Work Experience needed :)

Hi all, I was wondering if someone could help me! I'm a qualified make up artist and i'm looking to get into the industry whether it's in a store or assisting in Theatre or Photography shoots. it's very difficult to get into and I know I can do really well given the opportunity! How do i get into the industry or who could i contact to even get some sort of work experience ? :)
