competitive world of musical theatre as 16 young performers compete for roles in a new show. The audience is allowed an intimate experience of the exhausting process of learning routines and the hours of audition which precede the opening night. As each character reveals their individual hopes and fears, we share their anxieties about the future. Of course, not everyone will be chosen and we are drawn into a world where even the most talented have to suffer disappointment and rejection.
