NIDA invites applications to its full-time courses in 2003.

Applications open on 1 July 2002 and close 31 October 2002.

NIDA is the Australian national theatre school, a centre of excellence in training for theatre, film and television. NIDA's primary role is to select and train exceptionally gifted young people for careers in theatre, film and television. Its full-time courses provide professional training at a tertiary level for young people wishing to work in theatre, film or television as actors, stage managers, designers, scenery, costume or properties makers, directors, voice and movement teachers.

While best known for its acting course, NIDA also offers unique and effective courses with great career prospects in stage management, event management, lighting, sound, costume making, wardrobe management, scenery construction, properties and special effects. NIDA is especially dedicated to attracting applicants to these courses.

Entry to all the NIDA full-time courses is by audition or interview, conducted in every capital city throughout the country in November each year. Details of venues and dates are supplied on receipt of an application form.

More information, a prospectus and application form can be obtained from The Admissions Officer at NIDA on (02) 9697 7600 or printed from the website at www.nida.edu.au.
