Italian American Reconciliation is a bitter sweet comedy set in Little Italy, New York. It is a cautionary tale of love involving 4 characters and the ensuing strife is witnessed and ultimately put into perspective by Aunt May.
We need an Aunt May
Aunt May is a maternal figure who is older, wiser, and more experienced in the ways of the heart than the others. She is in her 40's. An Italian appearance is required, as is the ability to sustain the appropriate accent.
The season is set for the second half of June in an established Melbourne venue in Nth Fitzroy. The production is co-op, with an intensive rehearsal period beginning ASAP.
Auditions will be held this Monday night, May 13.
