JOONDALUP ENCORE THEATRE SOCIETY will be holding auditions for the following cast needed for its upcoming Pantomime "DIGGER WHITTINGTON" to be staged at the Karrinyup Community Centre, Karrinyup on 10 & 11 November and 15 & 16 December 2001.
DIGGER WHITTINGTON - Tall young female (singer/dancer)
PANSIE - Not so tall young female (singer/dancer)
ALDERMAN - male (comedy/actor)
ZACK - Young cheeky male(Jack the lad type) with ability to encourage audience participation
COOKIE - male with ability to express main role of the grand dame of comedy
FAIRY QUEEN - female with good singing voice and diction
RASTUS - Young female dancer (plays the villan for all its worth)
BOOTS THE CAT - Young female dancer, prankish and boyish as possible always having the audience on her side
CAPTAIN BIRDSEYE - male
BOSUN FISH - male
FIRST MATE FINGERS -male
TOWN CRYER - male
THE SULTAN - male
MICE - Young (primary school age) dancers
