JULY SHAKESPEARE AUDITIONS
Broken Limb Theatre Co. and Shakespearience are joining forces this July to present a season of back-to-back Shakespeare in Northbridge's Rechabites Hall and are now looking for actors of all ages.
Season One: Romeo & Juliet - July 5-8 & 10-14
Directed by Grant Malcolm
East meets west in Northbridge in a stunning, action-packed production that explores the cultural divisions across the generational and racial divide.
This production offers roles for a number of Asian Australians as well as many non-specific actors.
Season Two: Taming of the Shrew - July 19-22 & 24-28
Directed by Claire Hooper
Set in the 1940s in the dingy Padua Bros. Circus this Taming of the Shrew will be a wildly energetic production with acrobatics, clowning and swinging musical numbers!
We need people with skills in Shakespearian technique, circus, dancing, singing &/or music.
Auditions for both shows will be held on Saturday, April 21st and Sunday, April 22nd (with a callback scheduled for the following Sunday) at the Blue Room - James St, Northbridge. The auditions will be in small groups (no audition piece required) and will run for 45-60 minutes starting at the following times:
Sat 21: 4pm, 5pm, 6pm
Sun 22: 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm,
