Auditions at 7pm At the comedy's core is Barney Cashman, a middle-aged owner of a successful seafood restaurant, married nebbish who wants to join the sexual revolution before it's too late. A gentle soul with no experience in adultery, he thinks his marriage no longer provides him with a sense of romantic adventure but fails in each of his three seductions: • Elaine Navazio, a sexpot who likes cigarettes, whiskey, and other women's husbands who has been an hot blooded customer of his restaurant aged 35 – 50ish • Bobbi Michele, an actress friend who he discovers is madder than a hatter; and a pot smoking beauty who has failed at any attempt at an acting career. Aged 25 – 30ish • Jeannette Fisher, his wife's best friend, a staunch moralist.
