Five actors needed for a new adaptation of The Pit and the Pendulum

Surrounded by shadows, a man, imprisoned and alone, is haunted by thoughts of what’s to come. Slowly, he begins to see that his is a torture beyond what he can imagine. Unseen, his captors leave him to pull himself apart with fear. The Pit and the Pendulum is a production which looks to bring to life Poe’s vivid examination of the blurred line between physical and psychological suffering I'm looking for five actors, male and female, who have had experience either in physical theatre or dance (or both!) to help me to re-tell this familiar story in a new way. Only apply if you're based in Melbourne, as it could get tricky if you're out of town. The show will (hopefully) be at Revolt and will run from 19th to the 23rd March 2012 Get on board! Matt
