• Are you looking for well paid, ongoing part-time acting work that offers flexible hours and leaves you free to pursue other acting opportunities at the same time? • Want to join a company of fourteen young dedicated actors who use puppet theatre, interactive drama, and film and video production to entertain and teach children in schools? If you are a professional actor, like to travel and think you have what it takes to star in this role then this opportunity may be for you. Becoming a cast member of the CC Performance Company provides a unique opportunity to practice and develop your acting skills in a demanding children’s entertainment role – our company members need to memorize eight scripts at a time, play up to six roles per show, and sometimes perform up to five times a day! The ability to drive and a love of adventure are also important, as we often travel by small plane and 4WD to perform in very remote indigenous communities in the Pilbara, Kimberley and Central Deserts regions. Auditions are being held on 15 and 16 December 2011 to recruit four to six new cast members for this unique performance company. If you have graduated from a recognised acting course, have a driver’s license and think you have what it takes to shine, then contact the Constable Care Child Safety Foundation Operations Manager Dixie Francis on 9272 0011 or dixie@constablecare.org.au and we’ll get you in to show us what you can do. Indigenous performers are particularly encouraged to apply.
