Equilibrium

Evaporating Sun are theatre makers. We are putting on a co-op production of an original play called ‘Equilibrium’ from 21st April to the 8th of May at the Northcote Town Hall. The play is a dialogue driven piece about relationships and sexual politics, the themes are loss of innocence, hope and curiosity. An independent dramaturge report notes that “This is an accomplished, ambitious, and formally inventive piece of playwriting… this is a very effective work that should be realised in a production sooner rather than later”. We are looking for actors for the following roles: Allan – 45 to 55 yr old Dianne – 35 to 45 yr old Jo – 35 to 45 yr old male Abigail – 19 to 23yr old Eddy – 19 to 23yr old All roles are challenging and substantial. In addition to performance dates we anticipate a six week rehearsal two evenings a week and one afternoon per w/e, there is some flexibility with this and occasionally rehearsals will not require all actors. Audition dates are the afternoon of Sunday 28th of February and evening of Monday 1st of May – Melbourne venue to be confirmed - actors will be advised of the time.
