Auditions for "The Wedding Singer" will take place on Saturday, 30th, and Sunday, 31st January, 2010, at Prima's headquarters, 750 Gympie Road, Lawnton.
Cast requirements are 4 female and 4 male major roles, and a chorus of approximately 20.
Rehearsals will be held 3 times a week - Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Sunday, with the first rehearsal commencing on Sunday, 7th February. "The Wedding Singer" will be performed 7 times - Friday, 7th May and Saturday, 8th May, at 8.00 pm; Friday, 14th May and Saturday, 15th May, at 8.00 pm; Sunday, 16th May, 2.30 pm; Friday, 21 May and Saturday, 22nd May. All people who wish to audition must commit to all rehearsals and all shows. Please note that we do not use prompts or understudies.
Apart from the cast for the show, Prima is looking for a production director, a musical director, and a choreographer.
