Country of Paper Castles

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Papatelleroni the Storyteller and I have lots of stories to tell. Why I can tell you of giants and genies, of witches and whales, of rainbows and pots of gold – it’s all up here in this old head of mine. And today I have a very special story for you. Something very extraordinary. And why is it special and extraordinary? Because it all starts with a book. No ordinary book - a storybook. And you know what a storybook is? It’s a magic carpet, a door and a gateway, a ticket, a passport, wings to fly on, sails to sail with, spinning wheels to race you full tilt into a land of adventure. Listen and I’ll explain... • Sun 25/Oct 3-5pm – Ensemble/kids (group audition)

Season: 15/Jan - 30/Jan 2010. Rehearsals and Performances in Ashwood. Preparation:

• Please bring a headshot/photo.
• Speaking role auditions: Come with a monologue and a song.
• Child/ensemble auditionees aged 8-14 years need to be willing to sing.
