STARBOUND 6 - musical theatre workshops and performance

Starbound 6 is a two week, full time, intensive musical theatre workshop that culminates in 3 huge shows featuring a live band, lighting, sound and costumes. With 60 young adults aged 14 to 21, 18 songs from musical theatre shows such as Young Frankenstein, Shrek the Musical, In the Heights, Les Miserables, Cry baby the Musical, Songs for a New World, 13 the Musical and more... Amazing teachers - Starbound 5 featured 14 staff from the professional musical theatre industry. Auditions are Sunday 22nd November - 3 time slots (11am, 1pm and 3pm). You must register by calling 03-9893 6617 or emailing launchpaddrama@optusnet.com.au Requirements: Sing 1 song (choose one that shows off you voice preferably musical theatre but not necessary), then perform choreography that is taught to you on the day. All auditionees are required to sing and dance/move with feeling on the day so wear comfy clothes. Each session runs for approx 90 - 120 minutes. Auditions and workshops are held at Ruyton Girls' School in Kew. Please be assured the auditions are fun....scary but fun!
