AUDITION ON SUNDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER 2009 AT THE LIMELIGHT THEATRE FROM 10AM TO 1PM For your singing audition please bring either sheet music or a backing tape/CD and choose a piece to sing which shows off your voice - it is not necessary to sing something from the show. CHARACTERS: Sister Robert Anne - a street-wise, savvy and energetic nun 25-40ish Sister Mary Leo - a young novice. Ballet ability essential Sister Mary Regina (Reverend Mother) a mature nun, say 50+ with a gutsy singing voice Sister Mary Hubert - a mature nun who aspires to be Reverend Mother. (A healthy rivalry exists between these two - similar to that of Mame and Vera in "Mame") Sister Mary Amnesia - mature preferred but not essential. A sweet but forgetful nun as her name suggests. There is a variety of song and dance throughout the play. However, ALL characters MUST be able to tap dance (and not fake it!) The young nun needs to able to dance on point.
