The Farndale AvenueHousing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society's Production of a Christmas Carol

SATURDAY AUGUST 29th from 2 pm at Melville Theatre

Those indefatigable ladies are at it again. . In festive mood the FAHETGDS mount yet another assault on the classics. Enthusiam being their middle name and with the support of the one lonely male  the cast present a dizzy ararngement  of Dickens characters (plus a few that aren't!)

The ladies of the FAHETGDS are going to present the classic “A Christmas Carol” with their own personal twist! With more enthusiasm than talent, they present a dizzy arrangement of the classic Dickens characters (plus a few that aren't).

CAST required;

Mrs Reece: elegant, bossy, enterprising, 50's

Thelma: quick-tempered prima donna, 40's

Gordon: long-suffering stage manager, frozen-faced and monotonous when acting, age immaterial (note: preferably be able to carry one other character on his shoulders for one scene)

Felicity: nervous, well-meaning but incompetent actress, late 20's

Mercedes: phlegmatic, yet dogged, not young.

Ages are flexible so don't be dissuaded from auditioning.
