'The Last Waltz' - Director Jane Sherwood- A drama sprinked with a dash of aussie humour)
CHARACTERS
1 – Indian / Muslim descent, stage age approx 35 -50, build = slim / Scrawny, black hair etc.
1 – Aussie boy (caucasion) – stage age approx 24 – 30 works on the mines, rough exterior, but soft centered.
'White Roses' (Director John Grimshaw Comedy with just a hint of drama, if you look close enough)
CHARACTERS
2 – Australian blokey types. Stage age approx 50 – 55.
Physical characteristics of both actors can be flexible, although if as per the image in our writers head, our first character, George 'the gun' Mullingan would best suit a skinny bogan type.' George's fashion stops at black jeans, and lumberjack shirts, with his only claim to fashionista, being that he's moved his Winfield blues from his shirt sleeve, to his back pocket. A Bon Scott fan from way back.Thrice married, dinkum 'pool comp' kind of a bloke. a spade is excatly that.
Roger on the other hand we see as more heavy/ thick set, like George, he's true blue to the core, but a bit more refined and soft centred than George.
Tissues and Wine' - Director Peter Nettleton(A comedy with dramatic effect)
