'Night, Mother

'Night, Mother is a critically acclaimed play that has received 4 Tony nominations and won the Pulitzer Prize for drama. In a small house on an isolated country road, Jessie and her mother Thelma prepare for another evening of the familiar routine of their lives together. As the play begins Jessie asks for her father's service revolver and calmly announces that she intends to kill herself before morning. The play builds tension as the two women run the emotional gamut from disbelief, acceptance, desperation, helplessness and anger until the shocking ending. Auditions will take place on Sunday February 3rd from 2pm, at Beaumaris Theatre, 82 Wells Rd Beaumaris. Chareacters: Jessie (F) mid 30s - 40s. American accent.
