Based on the true story of Lousie M Alcott who wrote the classic book followed by Little Men, Good Wives, when it was not done for females to write novels, or write for the newspapers. The music is lovely the story line is funny, moving, and uplifting. Required. Six females Ages 19- 30 depending on how young you look at 30! Meg March oldest daughter - pretty- all rounder. Jo March - protagonist - the writer- Tom boy- strong character, creative thinker Meg March - the pianist - gentle underestimates herself. Amy March - the artists- spoil youngest daughter, vain, clever artist. Mrs March - mother Aunt March- Rich Auntie - strong character, likes to rule the roost. four males - Age As for the females. Laurie - Lives next door- Laurie's grandfather - Mr Brookes- Laurie's tutor - falls in love with Meg Professor Baher- who falls in love with Jo Rehearsals are held at Sages Cottage - Cnr Moorooduc Highway and Sages Road Baxter 36 acres of lovely surroundings, including a lake make for enjoyable rehearsals.
