NIDA Singer Dancer Actor Auditions

Singer Dancer Actor is a year-long training course in performing music theatre. Entry to the course is by audition, held in November each year at NIDA in Sydney and also in Melbourne and Brisbane. Applications for 2008 are now open. Entry to the course is by audition only. Please complete an application form and send it to NIDA with the audition fee of $60 by Wednesday 14 November 2007. Applicants in Melbourne and Brisbane have the opportunity to attend a Music Theatre Masterclass with core Singer Dancer Actor tutor Avigail Herman on the day before the audition. This class is not essential but will allow applicants to work with Avigail before auditioning. The course is taught by specialists from the entertainment industry and covers the techniques of singing, dancing and acting. Recent graduates have found employment in productions, such as Titanic, Priscilla, Dusty, The Producers, Mama Mia, Shout and Hair.
