To book an audition or find out more, please contact Katherine on 0425 840 027 or auditions@hartwellplayers.org.au. + CAST REQUIRED - Nora Helmer: 25-35 (approximately) - Torvald Helmer: 25 -35 (approximately) - Dr Rank: any age - Nils Krogstad: similar age to Torvald - Mrs Linde: similar age to Nora, although could look a bit older - Anna-Maria (the nurse): small part, 40-60ish - A Housemaid: walk-on part, any age - A Porter: walk on part, any age + SYNOPSIS Nora and Torvald are a young married couple about to celebrate Christmas as a family. Times have been hard, but now Torvald has a promotion and it appears as though things will be easier. However, Nora has a secret – as a young woman she did something to save her husband that a woman should not have done. This secret threatens to tear the family apart when an unscrupulous man begins to blackmail Nora. As she comes closer and closer to losing everything, Nora realises that the life she has is not in fact the life that she wants.
